This page is a tribute to the Twin Towers. The Gem of New York.

Death, Crime, Poverty, Pollution and Any other combination of things that usually make the front page, or the 10 o'clock news.
To be truthful, nothing ever really affected me. After watching the news for 17 years and hearing about all the horrible deaths and other things
that has happened over the past years, you become almost unaffected by hearing about some murder in Detroit or a car crash on I-75. These
things happen almost everyday, and your used to it. More Blood! More Gore, More Swearing! These are the only ways to catch America's
attention for a brief 15 seconds. But when I woke up on September Eleventh, in the year Two Thousand and One, and turned on the TV
my jaw dropped. Never has anything happened that has affected me like this. We were under attack. Terrorists had destroyed a landmark
of our great nation, And it wasn't some building in a far away land. It was the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center Complex in New York City.
A place I visited recently for a school fieldtrip (Photos Below). I remember so many little details about the towers, My brain just couldn't
contemplate the fact that a big, strong building like that was no more. I remember while on the observation floor, seeing all the tourists
looking down, thinking what it would be like to jump from such a height. Its so sad to think that many people actually found out what it was like.
Thoughts just go through my head, what if this had happened while on my field trip? I can just picture looking out the windows over New York
and suddenly seeing a Jumbo Jet just heading directly at you, it's simply horrible to imagine. But enough about me, this tragedy has affected
every American. Now when boarding flights instead of people praying there isn't a storm, and in the freak occurrence lighting strikes the plane
and the engines die. People will now look at each other and think, and pray I hope he isn't a terrorist, I hope this plane doesn't get hijacked.
Men working in a high level office buildings will now see working at the top floor a risk instead of being the ultimate dream. This page is for
all who have died, and all this terrible tragedy has affected, may your souls rest in peace.

- The Forever Changed Skyline

Before

After

These are the same photos I took while on a field trip in New York, I edited out the towers on the after.
Look how different the city looks, it could be almost any city in America with out the Landmark Towers.
This is how the city will look when the smoke clears. This is indeed a moment of history that we are apart of
think about back when you were in school, learning about Pearl Harbor, it was most likely to you just some words
and a picture on one of the 900 pages in your history book. But think how years from now in the future this will be
another page too, and the young student reading it will have no idea what it was like for us Americans to go through
something like this. The only way you could ever know is if you were there, no matter how many books, videos, and stories
come out of this. There will never be a replacement for waking up that morning and turning on the TV, to find that your
generic day, has just become one of the most important and significant days in your life.
