Comments
[ We thought GI were friends of ours prior to this match. There were a lot of communication problems between them and the person they had tasked to set up this match with us. As a result, the unconfirmed match day arrived and they were ready to play but we were not, one of the main details undecided upon being what maps we were playing. Not wanting to alienate them, I reluctantly agreed to play until 10pm when one of our players had to be off the computer and finish the rest on another day. We played our map first and won, finishing about 9:50. When we reminded them that we had to finish later they went balistic on us. I was confused by their harsh reaction but let it slide because I assummed their match co-ordinator would explain and everything would be fine. But it wasn't. They insisted we throw out the map we had played and start over. To preserve the relationship, I came very close to agreeing before I finally realized there was no relationship to preserve in the first place and probably never had been. Basically they were infuriated that they even lost a single map to us, even though they had won the previous two matches. You don't want to beat somebody that bad unless you really hate them to start with. Something I suddenly realized after this match and they've made clear ever since. -Crash ]
