Azure Agony344-82 Ramled [Lp2000]
Burnout put GDI in the lead with an early capture in the beginning of the game to set the tone for what started out to be a failry close game. GDI's strategy of alternating people on defense proved be a great tactic. Keeping somone back with plenty of rockets and lots of health was excellent. That made it hard for TuSa to take over the base.
Several minutes later Burnout was able to pull a nice base take over by himself and snatched the flag and was able to capture it before TuSa was able to get back on their feet.
A few more caps by GDI and they were out to a pretty comanding lead. TuSa just was never able to break the defense. With Pibb and Riptor combined on defense, it was literally impossible for TuSa to get any offense going.
All in all it was an exciting game to watch, and everyones attitude was good. Thats what I like to see. Good games guys. Oops and girl. ;-) |
The Nameless Mines246-53 Ramled [Lp2000] . Very early in the game Alphabet grabbed the flag and scambled to get back to his base only to be fragged by a quad rocket. Yet a very determined Alphabet rushed back in grabbed the flag and eluded some pursuers to capture and give TuSa an early lead.
The game then slowed to a screeching halt as both teams dug in and got their defenses squared away. With about ten minutes left Pibb was able to sneak into the enemy base and get a capture to put GDI on top.
GDI was very determined to keep there very small lead and Burnout stepped it up on the defensive side. Every attempt made by Alphabet or Tonka to get the flag was thwarted, and if they were able to grap the flag they were gibbed trying to leave the base.
Pibb managed to get a couple more caps lengthening the gap between the two teams. In desperation TuSa went to all out attack mode and all 3 players tried to get a cap for their team. But to no avail, GDI's defense was too much, with Burnout leading the way. |
